Youth Chorus of Milan is where young singers find their voice and their people. From our youngest beginners discovering the joy of music to our most advanced ensembles performing multi-movement masterworks, we offer choir programs that grow with your child. Our choristers build strong vocal technique, music literacy, and the confidence to perform, all while making friends and having fun. Whether your child is just starting out or ready for a cappella challenges, there’s a place for them here. Because when kids sing together, they grow together.
Kids 6-7 years
Sing, move, and play your way to becoming a young musician. Build a strong foundation in music through fun, engaging activities.
Kids 8-10 years
Develop your voice, learn to read music, and perform with confidence. Build teamwork and friendships through the joy of singing together.
Kids 11-13 years
Refine your vocal technique and explore challenging repertoire. Perform in concerts and grow as a skilled, expressive singer.
Kids 14-18 years
Master advanced vocal skills and perform diverse repertoire, from a cappella to masterworks. Lead as a mentor and experience the power of ensemble singing.

* YCM offers two sections of Music for kids 6-7. Families choose to sign up for either the Monday or Wednesday sections. And if your child has to miss a lesson, they are welcome to come to the other section’s lesson that week!
Meet our choir director
Artistic Director
Amy
Amy began her life in music as a chorister in a program quite similar to YCM! After a childhood in song, she went on to study music at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon where she sang in university ensembles and was selected as a student intern for the Portland Opera. Her academic career then culminated in a Master Degree of Music in Vocal Performance at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida where she performed as a soloist in chamber music concerts, oratorios, and in leading roles with the Florida State Opera. In Milan, where she has lived since 2007, she has continued to share her music with others as a performer, educator, and fellow musician.
