Where Young Singers Find Their Voice
Overtones is our choir program for kids ages 8-10 who are ready to find their voice and share it with the world. We meet weekly for 1 hour and 30 minutes to perfect the repertoire for our concerts throughout the year. Our pieces reflect our growing vocal maturity and experience with reading music. As a core performing ensemble, we also develop our interpretative and communication skills, learning to connect with audiences and share the joy of singing. Many of our singers start in Music (ages 6-7) and continue their journey here. Whether you’re new to choir or already love to sing, you’ll find your place in Overtones.

We meet once a week from September through May, with breaks scheduled for Christmas, Carnival, and Easter, as well as national and local public holidays.
Rehearsals are held at Via Solferino 17, Milan, whereas our performances and their accompanying dress rehearsals take place throughout Milan. A full calendar with all our activities’ dates and locations is available to students at enrollment.
Performances throughout the artistic season
YCM believes strongly in giving our choristers multiple opportunities to perform. We want our young artists to experience the sense of satisfaction that is felt as a result of hours of acquiring new skills and overcoming challenges to gain mastery. These performances are peak experiences for choristers and audiences alike, showcasing weeks, months, and even years of musical preparation and dedication.
