Music is where it all begins. In our weekly one-hour class for kids ages 6-7, we sing, move, and play our way to becoming young musicians. Each session is packed with games and activities that help us explore our voices, connect to the words we’re singing, and discover what the music is really telling us. Every song we learn has a purpose, whether it’s stretching our range, building breath control, or sharpening our ears. Along the way, we start the adventure of reading music, turning notes into a language we can speak, sing, and enjoy. This is the perfect foundation for your child’s next step, whether they continue into Choir, discover their stage presence in Musical, or both. Your child’s musical journey starts here.

YCM offers either a Monday or a Wednesday section. And if your child has to miss their lesson, they are welcome to join us on the other section’s day.
We meet once a week at via Solferino 17 from September through May with breaks scheduled for Christmas, Carnival, and Easter, as well as national and local public holidays. A full calendar is available at enrollment.
Performances throughout the artistic season
YCM believes strongly in giving our young artists multiple opportunities to perform. We want our young artists to experience the sense of satisfaction that is felt as a result of hours of acquiring new skills and overcoming challenges to gain mastery. These performances are peak experiences for choristers and audiences alike, showcasing weeks, months, and even years of musical preparation and dedication.
