For our BookCity event “Read and Sing Africa” at Museo d’Arte e Scienza, YCM’s performing choir jumped into a repertoire featuring traditional African music as well as African-inspired songs. The opportunity to sing two short sets allowed our choristers to begin to feel at home on the stage and truly enjoy the experience of performing before a live audience. We’d like to thank once again our partners Museo d’Arte e Scienza, Usborne Books, and the South African Consul-General as well as our collaborating performers Giovanni Cacioppo on guitar and Wilfred Wilson on djembe.
