Courses for high schoolers
Choir. Musical Theatre.
For high school students, YCM offers two programs for young performers ready to grow as artists and individuals. Choir provides a rich ensemble experience, building vocal technique and musical literacy. Musical Theatre offers the chance to develop as a performer, combining singing, acting, and movement on stage. Both programs emphasize collaboration, dedication, and the joy of creating something meaningful together. No matter which path they choose, they’ll find a community that supports and inspires them.
Choir

Choir isn’t just singing. It’s teamwork, discipline, and the rush of creating something bigger than yourself. High schoolers learn to blend their voices, listen deeply, and push each other higher – all while building friendships and a community that feels like home. It’s challenging, it’s thrilling, and it stays with you long after the final note.
Musical

Musical theatre is where high schoolers discover who they are – and who they can become. They learn to sing, dance, and act, but more than that, they learn to take risks, trust their instincts, and own the stage. Working together to bring a production to life builds bonds that go beyond the final curtain call. It’s challenging, it’s electric, and it’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after the applause fades.
